Use Moveo with Zapier

Overview

The way Moveo has to call a webhook when an event occurs using event notifications

is also used to connect Moveo with Zapier. This way you can trigger Zapier workflows when an event occurs in Moveo instead of coding a custom integration.

How to connect Moveo with Zapier

Requisites

• A Zapier account
• A Moveo account

Step 1: Get your account ID

Since event notifications are account level, you need to copy your account ID

from the Moveo dashboard. This ID is used to identify your account in the Zapier app.

Step 2: Create a management API Key

With this key you can grant access to the Moveo API to Zapier in order to listen to events happening in your account.

Step 3: Create a Zapier app

For this step you must have a Zapier account. If you don't have one, you can create one here.

1. Go to the Zapier dashboard and click on the Create a Zap button.
2. Select Create a Zap and choose the trigger you want to use.
3. Choose Moveo as the app you want to use.
4. In Trigger event choose the event you want to listen to.
5. In Acount click Sign In and paste the account ID and API Key you previously copied.
6. Click on Continue and it will send a test request to Moveo to check if the connection is working.
7. If everything is ok, set up the action you want to perform when the event occurs.
